What to Expect
Reach out by phone, text, or through the contact form and tell us what you’re looking to build, even if you’re not exactly sure yet. Some clients have a clear vision and inspiration photos, others just know they need a patio, deck, wall, driveway, or water feature and want help exploring options. Both are welcome!
Before scheduling a site visit, we’ll have a short phone conversation to understand your goals, timeline, and project scope so we can determine if we’re a good fit for each other.
Most homeowners come to us with questions, ideas, and rough goals, not finished designs. Our job is to guide you.
Chad comes out personally, walks the space with you, takes measurements and photos, and talks through goals, style, access, and budget.
More involved projects (multiple elevations, steps, seating walls, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, etc.) require a 3D design so we can visualize everything accurately.
Simple projects, such as a basic patio or driveway, typically do not require a design retainer. When a design is needed, we create a custom Unilock 3D design based on your space.
Design retainers start at $350 and are applied to the project if you choose to move forward.

• layout & flow planning
• drainage considerations
• exact project pricing
This planning work protects you from expensive construction changes later and ensures everything functions correctly on your property.
Once the scope is clear, we provide a detailed proposal with an exact price, not a ballpark estimate. This allows you to make a confident decision without surprise costs.
To reserve a spot on the schedule we take a deposit:
- 50% down / 50% on completion, or
- 50% down / 25% midpoint / 25% completion on larger builds
We provide an estimated start window. Weather and ongoing project durations can shift schedules slightly, but we keep you updated throughout.
We handle the entire project with our own equipment and craftsmen. From excavation and base to final stonework and cleanup, it’s all performed by Eastern Sky. The goal is to create a space you don’t want to escape from.
